Digitalism lock in full Australian tour plans

We already knew that electro party-kids Digitalism were coming to our shores for Fat as Butter in Newcastle and a Garden Party at ivy with Booka Shade, but now we can happily announce that they’ll also be stopping by the other states for seven dates of Pogo-ing mayhem. And that’s not the only exciting Digitalism-related news we have for you – the duo are also releasing their first new music since 2011 in the form of a three-track EP, dropping on Kitsune next Monday September 23.

Lift is the first time that Jence and Isi have worked with other producers for every track, resulting in a variety of electro flavours: opener Lift with The M Machine is huge and anthemic without being obnoxious; Dudalism with enigmatic Californian producer Steve Duda is driving, fun techno; while The Electric Fist with the mysterious Michael Diamond of Blood Diamonds is space age club funk – listen to them all for yourself below. Safe to say we’re hyped for the Australian shows.

The last time we spoke to Digitalism they told us their ten favourite albums of all time, an appropriately varied mix of indie, dance and beats that ranged from Wu Tang Clan and The Strokes to Music From The Films of Harrison Ford. You can check out the full list for yourself here, and pick up a copy of their latest work from Beatport here.
