Boys Noize locks in a 2017 Australian tour

Hard-edged electro hero Boys Noize has just announced he’s coming back to Australia.

In a post on Twitter overnight, the German favourite added a stack of dates to his 2017 Warehaus Tour – including four in Australia. Alex Ridha will hit Villa in Perth, 170 Russell in Melbourne, the Metro Theatre in Sydney and Brisbane venue Max Watt’s next April, in a tour that looks to be presented by BBE.

The tour follows the release of Ridha’s new album Mayday, which he says is a call to arms for dance fans. “Basically [the title Mayday] can be a wake-up call,” he told inthemix earlier this year. “The whole dance scene…is so stereotyped and functional. To me it’s all the same. There is not so much identity in the EDM scene and I think that’s something a lot of people are looking for without knowing. They just take whatever’s presented to them, but I really want to try to give them an option B.”
